Two people in life threatening condition after collision in Wiltshire

Two people are in a life-threatening condition following a two-vehicle collision on Corsham Road, Lacock, this morning (October 21).

Police say at approximately 9:30am, a car collided with a minibus taxi near Whitehall Garden Centre.

The driver of the car, a woman in her 50s, and a passenger in the taxi, a woman in her 40s, have both been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the taxi has also been taken to hospital as a precaution.

Road closures are currently in place while emergency services attend the scene.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or who has dashcam footage to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597, quoting log number 53.
