Two Chippenham men charged after drugs and cash found

Two men from Chippenham have been charged, following the discovery of drugs and cash at a property in the town.

45 year Saimir Morina, from London Road; and 54 year old Petrit Zela from Ryan Avenue, were arrested on Tuesday (14th January).

Morina's now been charged with being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.

Zela's been charged with acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.

It follows the discovery of £40,000 in cash, a kilogram of cocaine and 8kg of methamphetamines at an address in Ryan Avenue.

The pair have been remanded in custody to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court today (Thursday 16th January).

A 19 year old man arrested as part of the same incident has been released with no further action.
