Two men arrested following Devizes jewellery store theft

A stinger was used by police to stop their car

Two men have been arrested after a robbery from a Devizes jewellery store.

A tray of gold items was taken from a shop in Estcourt Street yesterday lunchtime (Friday 31st January).

The suspects drove away in a Renault Clio, with a police pursuit authorised.

Their vehicle was stopped using a stinger on the A350, near to the M4 junction 17, with the stolen jewellery recovered.

A 19 year old's being questioned on suspicion of robbery, and a 20 year old's in custody on suspicion of theft.
