Teenager suffers 'hearing loss' after unprovoked assault in Salisbury

An investigation has been launched after a 17-year-old boy was assaulted in Salisbury in the early hours of 26th October.

The incident happened at around 1.30am on New Canal Road, opposite Chick-O-Land, while the victim was talking with two girls.

The victim was approached by three males and one of these males assaulted him by punching him to the head and kicking him.

The boy sustained facial injuries and attended hospital following the incident.

Police said he is still experiencing hearing loss following the incident.

Officers investigating the case anyone who witnessed the assault who may be able to help with enquiries to come forward.
