Teenager rushed to hospital after crash in Malmesbury

A 17-year-old has been hospitalised after a crash near Malmesbury.

Emergency services were rushed to Lower Stanton St Quinton overnight (10/09).

In a statement, Wiltshire Police told us: "A 17-year-old male is being treated in hospital following a road traffic collision on the A429 Malmesbury Road in Lower Stanton St Quinton, Malmesbury at about 8pm yesterday (10/09).

"We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have dash cam footage to contact the investigation team.

"Please contact Sgt Benson on [email protected] quoting log 54250123267. "

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 20:02hrs on Wednesday 10 September to a road traffic collision near Stanton St Quinton.

"We sent one double-crewed land ambulance, and an air ambulance to the scene. We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Southmead Hospital.”
