Teenager charged after Trowbridge stabbing

Wiltshire Police have confirmed that a teenager has been charged following a stabbing in Trowbridge.

Kurtis Moore, 18, of Cromwell Road, Devizes, has been charged with Section 18 GBH, wounding with intent, possessing a knife in a public place and theft of a motor vehicle.

In a statement, officers said: "At around 1am on Tuesday (21/07), officers responded to reports that a 15-year-old boy had been injured with a knife on a footpath near the railway bridge between Drynham Road and Sparrow Street.

"The boy sustained injuries to his ear, hand and possibly a severed finger.

"Moore is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court today.

"A 15-year-old boy has also been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and has been released on conditional bail."

Detectives would like to hear from anyone who may have door bell, phone or dashcam footage taken from the time.
