Serving Wiltshire Police officer charged with drink driving
PC Ted Andrews, 19, from Swindon, has been charged with drink driving
A serving Wiltshire Police officer has been charged with drink driving following an incident in Swindon while off duty.
Wiltshire Police said on September 20, 19 year old PC Ted Andrews, from Swindon was identified as the driver of a vehicle which had broken down on Swindon's Magic Roundabout and blew over the legal alcohol limit.
He has been charged with drink driving and has been bailed to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on November 4th.
PC Andrews who is based in Swindon Response was suspended from police duty following the incident.
