Salisbury cancer patients and families asked to help shape services
The NHS Foundation Trust wants to hear their experiences
People who've had cancer treatment at Salisbury District Hospital in the last two years are being asked to share their experiences.
The NHS Foundation Trust is hosting an event next week (Tuesday 4th March) for patients, their families, friends and carers, to help shape future services.
They want to hear what went well or had a positive impact, as well as what could be improved.
The comments will be taken in by the Hospital's Patient and Public Voice group, to pass on to management for changes.
Staff will also be on hand at the event at the Meeting House on Wilton Road to answer questions and help with explaining issues.
Luke Curtis, Lead Cancer Nurse, said: “Someone who has had a cancer diagnosis, treatment or has been impacted by cancer, are experts by experience.
"It is important we hear the voices of people that experience our services to allow us to learn what is good about our services and what we can improve on. I look forward to hearing from you at the engagement event.”
Anyone interested in attending on Tuesday, between 2.30 and 3.30pm is asked to email [email protected] or call 01722 336262, Ext 5248.
