Over £7k raised for Salisbury Hospice Charity by FUSE
The new Mayor was on the scene to support one of his chosen charities
The first FUSE (Fun. Ultimate. Social. Engagement.) event has raised more than £7,000 for the Salisbury Hospice Charity.
Held at The Stones Hotel, the event included a silent auction, balloon tombola and live music.
The new mayor of Salisbury, Atiqul Hoque was special guest for the evening, supporting one of his chosen charities for the year.
Louise Compton, Corporate Fundraiser said: “It was a pleasure to host such a fun evening of entertainment.”
She added: “I am very grateful to everyone who supported us in making this evening a night to remember. The evening would have not been possible without the generosity of everyone in the corporate community all working together.”
A range of prizes for the evening were donated by local businesses, including Live Escape Rooms Salisbury, Wiltshire Creative and Fordingbridge Print.
Head of Fundraising for SHC, Paula Flower said: “The evening was an overwhelming success bringing together corporate supporters from across the region for a tremendous evening of fun.
“I’d like to thank everyone who generously supported the event and contributed towards its success.”
Other activities at the event were a fun casino, various competitions and a magician.
