£83K upgrades to Salisbury Churchill Gardens pathways complete
Resurfacing's been taking place, with 60 new cherry trees planted
An £83,077 project to make pathways at Salisbury's Churchill Gardens smoother has been completed.
The City Council's been working since September to resurface the area, replacing damaged paving slabs with new tarmac.
60 new cherry trees have also been planted, and grass seeds sown on new green spaces.
That's all part of the authority's Tree & Ecosystem Strategy commitment to increase canopy cover across the city.
The areas affected by the works have been fully reopened to the public.
