Man charged with attempted murder after serious injury in Salisbury

Court appearance scheduled following Firsdown altercation

A 32-year-old man from Salisbury has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was seriously injured.

Jake Guyatt, who lives at Spire View, was arrested following an incident at a residence in Firsdown on 5th May.

He is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court today, 7th May.

In addition to the attempted murder charge, Guyatt faces charges of possession of a bladed article, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession of a class B drug.

The injured woman remains in hospital.

The case is ongoing.
