Popular pre-Christmas fair returning to Salisbury
The Rockbourne Fair help support the Stars Appeal
A popular pre-Christmas fair is returning to Salisbury next month in support of the Stars Appeal.
The Rockbourne Fair is being held at Salisbury Racecourse from 15th -17th October and will help the charity towards its £2 million fundraising target for 2025.
The event brings 100 boutique stalls offering fashion products, jewellery, homeware, gourmet food and unique gifts, with a third of stalls attending this year new to the event.
It's also bringing back the on-site restaurant as well as adding a new-for-2025 wood-fired sourdough pizza van, which will be on site every day.
Money spent at the fair will help fund state-of-the-art equipment, enhancements to buildings, and ongoing projects across Salisbury District Hospital, which include support for people with cancer, play therapy equipment and a dedicated play assistant on the Children’s Unit, and Stars Appeal Wi-Fi.
Entry to the event costs £6, with a special £3 discount after 6pm on Thursday 16th October for late-night shopping.
Bev Moulding, Chair of the Rockbourne Fair Committee, said: “Each year we carefully curate a new mix of stallholders to keep the Fair fresh and full of surprises - and 2025 is no exception. We’ve got so many brilliant new businesses joining us, alongside the familiar favourites our visitors love. It’s the perfect excuse to get ahead on your Christmas shopping and support small businesses, all while raising money for an amazing cause.”
