Police secure partial closure order over Melksham premises
Three arrested as enquiries into prostitution and money laundering continue
A premises in Melksham has been partially closed by police as part of an investigation into prostitution and money laundering.
The Melksham Neighbourhood Policing Team and CID officers attended the location in December following information from the community.
Two women were arrested on suspicion of keeping a brothel, while a man was arrested on suspicion of using or paying for sexual services from a prostitute.
All three were released on bail while enquiries continue.
The partial closure order was granted by courts to stop any illegal activities from happening at the site.
Melksham officers will continue to visit the premises to enforce the order.
Anyone found at the location without a legitimate reason to be there risks being arrested.
