Police appeal after serious crash near Tisbury

Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on a rural road near Tisbury late yesterday evening (3/8), in which a man suffered life-threatening injuries.

At around 11pm last night, Wiltshire Police say they responded to a single vehicle collision involving a Ford Focus on an unclassified road between the A30 and the village of Alvediston.

A passenger in the vehicle, a man in his 20s, suffered life-threatening injuries and has been taken to hospital for treatment.

A second passenger, an 18-year-old man, suffered facial injuries which aren’t thought to be life-changing.

The driver, a man in his 20s, suffered reportedly minor injuries.

The road was closed to allow for an initial investigation to take place and has now reopened. Further enquiries will now take place.
