Police appeal after 18-year-old assaulted in Devizes
The incident happened last Monday evening
Officers are investigating an assault on a woman in Devizes and are appealing for witnesses.
An 18-year-old woman was walking along Bath Road when she was assaulted on the bridge, between approximately 10.30pm and 11pm last Monday.
The woman sustained multiple injuries including a swollen eye, scratches and dizziness.
The suspect is described as female, approximately 5 ft 6 inches tall, with black hair and of a skinny build. She was wearing a black hoody and joggers. It is not clear which direction she left the scene in.
Enquiries are currently ongoing and anyone with information including anyone who was passing the scene who may have dash cam footage should get in touch.
