New red panda sparks excitement at Longleat
Visitors can meet Neo and Maya during LEGO Brick Week in February
Neo, the newest addition to Longleat, is causing quite a stir as he settles into his new home and meets Maya, a fellow red panda.
The two endangered animals have been seen touching noses on a branch in their habitat, capturing the hearts of visitors and staff alike.
Red pandas face a challenging future, with fewer than 10,000 remaining in the wild and a population decline of 50 per cent over the past 20 years, making their connection all the more significant.
Visitors to Longleat can see Neo and Maya during the February half term, when the estate hosts LEGO Brick Week from 14th to 22nd February.
The event will feature a unique LEGO brick safari in The Longhouse, where guests can unleash their creativity by designing and creating brick models including animals, structures, trees, and plants.
The festivities don't end there, as workshops, crafts, and a LEGO Brick Acorn Trail will be spread across the Park this Valentines period.
