Motorcyclist in hospital with life-threatening injuries after A303 collision

A man in his 60s is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a collision on the A303 yesterday evening.

The incident occurred at around 5:50 pm near Bulford, involving a Toyota Yaris and a BMW R1250 motorcycle, both travelling eastbound.

The motorcycle rider sustained severe injuries and has since been hospitalised, while the Yaris driver, a man in his 30s, experienced no reported injuries.

In response to the collision, the A303 road was closed temporarily to conduct necessary investigation work but has since reopened in both directions.

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage of the incident to come forward and assist in the investigation.
