Motorcyclist dies in collision on A36 in Salisbury

Police say no arrests have been made

A man has died after a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the A36 in Salisbury yesterday morning (November 16).

At around 11.10am, a Kawasaki ZX motorcycle travelling towards Wilton was involved in a collision with a Skoda Enyaq which was turning from Skew Road onto the A36.

Police say the rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the car, a woman in her 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment for reportedly minor injuries.

Police say no arrests have been made.

The road was closed to allow police to carry out enquires but has since reopened.
