Motorcyclist in his 60s dies in Chiseldon crash involving car
Police are appealing for witnesses following the tragic accident
A man in his 60s riding a motorcycle died after a collision at a junction in Chiseldon yesterday (11 August).
The accident occurred around 4.05pm between a Triumph Scrambler motorcycle and a black Volvo V60 at the junction of Draycott Road and The Ridgeway.
The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene, and his family has been informed.
The driver of the Volvo, a 24-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
He also faces accusations of causing death by careless driving and possession of an offensive weapon.
Authorities have taken him into custody for questioning.
The junction is presently closed as the investigation continues.
