Motorcyclist injured in crash involving fuel tanker in Marlborough

A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital after a crash involving a fuel tanker in Marlborough.

The man in his 20s suffered serious injuries in the incident on the A345 Granham Hill just after 7.30am this morning (Wednesday 15th July 2026).

There have been no arrests and they're appealing for any witnesses to get in touch.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said:

"We attended Granham Hill in Marlborough following a road traffic collision at about 7.30am today (15/07) involving a motorcycle and a fuel tanker.

"The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to air ambulance with serious injuries.

"There were no arrests.

"Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to call 101 quoting log 47 of today’s date."
