Man in life-threatening condition after Amesbury collision

A man has been taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition after a collision in Amesbury.

The man was walking in the direction of Larkhill on Countess Road, north of Countess Roundabout, when he was struck just after 3:20am.

The driver stopped at the scene and called emergency services.
