Man in court charged with attempted murder after woman seriously injured in Salisbury

It follows an incident at an address in Firsdown on Tuesday (5th May) in which a woman sustained serious injuries.

A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a woman was seriously injured in Salisbury.

Jake Guyatt, 32, of Spire View, appeared at Salisbury Magistrates Court this morning (7th May).

The charge relate to an incident to an incident at an address in Firsdown on 5th May in which a woman sustained serious injuries.

The woman remains in hospital.

Guyatt has also been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a class B drug.

No pleas were entered during the court appearance, and Guyatt has been remanded in custody.

He will next appear at Salisbury Crown Court on 3rd June.
