Man pleads guilty after police chase through Calne
Alec Wells charged with dangerous driving and other offences
A 40-year-old man from Calne has been charged with multiple offences following a police pursuit along the A4, between Chippenham and Calne.
Alec Wells, of North End, Calne, faced charges of dangerous driving, failing to stop, and failing to provide information.
The pursuit took place in the early hours of 25th February.
Wells appeared at Salisbury Magistrates Court on 26th February, where he pleaded guilty to all charges.
He has been remanded in custody ahead of his next court appearance scheduled for 17th April at Salisbury Magistrates Court.
