A man from Hilperton has been hit with a £500 fixed penalty notice (FPN) for littering at a layby in Southwick.

The man, who can't be named as it's not a court conviction, was spotted by a member of the public as he threw litter out of his car.

The person took a photo and reported it to Wiltshire Council, receiving a £100 high street shopping voucher as part of the witness rewards programme.
