A man is due before court this morning after a serious crash.
It involved a car and a pedestrian in Bemerton Heath on Saturday evening.
In a statement, Wiltshire Police said: "A man has been charged in connection with a serious collision between a car and a pedestrian in Pinewood Close, Bemerton Heath yesterday evening (10/05).
"Ashley Sherred, 33, of Southampton Road, Salisbury, has been charged with section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent and dangerous driving.
"He has been remanded into custody to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning (12/05).
"A car which we were previously appealing to locate has now been found. Thank you to everyone who called in with potential sightings."
