61-year-old man dies after collision on B4040 Malmesbury Road
Police seek witnesses to incident involving Toyota Yaris and HGV
A 61-year-old man has died in hospital following a collision on the B4040 Malmesbury Road.
The incident occurred around 4.20pm at the junction of the B4040 with an unnamed road leading to Chelworth.
The collision involved a Toyota Yaris and a heavy goods vehicle (HGV).
The man, a passenger in the Yaris, was taken to hospital with serious injuries and has since passed away.
His next of kin have been informed.
The driver of the Yaris, a 60-year-old woman, sustained injuries that are not believed to be serious.
The HGV driver remained at the scene, and no arrests have been made.
According to police, the investigation is ongoing.
