Man charged with multiple drug offences after arrest at festival on Wiltshire-Dorset border

30-year-old Joseph Hughes is accused of supplying Class A and Class B drugs as well as money laundering

A 30-year-old man has been charged with multiple drug offences following his arrest at a festival on the Wiltshire-Dorset border.

Joseph Hughes of Ashley Crescent, Wandsworth, London, faces charges including four counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drug.

He is also charged with three counts of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.

In addition, Hughes is accused of offering to supply LSD and psilocin (known as magic mushrooms), and two counts of money laundering.

Hughes was arrested in September 2023 at a festival in Tollard Royal, where police say he was found with a large quantity of drugs along with thousands of pounds in cash.

He is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on 10th July 2024.
