Man charged with cannabis production after discovery in Trowbridge

A 48-year-old man has been charged in relation to the discovery of a cannabis farm in Trowbridge.

Police conducted a warrant on Saturday afternoon (7/3) at the former Barclays Bank located on Fore Street.

Around 3.30pm, officers found a substantial quantity of cannabis plants inside the premises.

Alket Hajderasi, from Fore Street, was arrested and has now been charged with production of cannabis.

He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court on 9th March.
