A man's been assaulted on Salisbury's Town Path, at the edge of Queen Elizabeth Gardens.

Wiltshire Police tell us the victim, in his 20s, was approached by a group of males at around 4.30pm on Good Friday (7th April).

It's believed the group were all aged in their mid to late teens.

One of them became abusive towards the man and threw a drinks can at him, which struck him on the head.

That left a cut that needed medical attention.

Officers have now released a picture of a group of people they'd like to identify in connection with the incident.
