Longleat's Festival of Light in Wiltshire is expanding with the addition of extra dates for its much-anticipated event, The Festival of Light: Legendary Worlds, which opens on 7th November.

Due to the event's popularity, a new weekend in January has been added, offering more opportunities for visitors to experience the UK’s original lantern festival until 17th January.

Scott Ashman, Head of Operations, commented on the new dates, saying: “With more than 1,000 lanterns across the park, it’s promising to be an incredible event as we invite people to step into Legendary Worlds and discover myths with local foundations such as King Arthur and the Round Table, which can be explored alongside world-renowned legends such as the lost city of Atlantis.”

Guests can expect to explore the transformed former stable area of Longleat House into King Arthur’s Round Table, as well as walk under a giant blue whale representing Atlantis.

The event before Christmas also includes festive activities such as traveling by train to meet Santa.
