A dedicated team of 17 runners have raised over £47,000 for the Stars Appeal, Salisbury Hospital's charity after completing the London Marathon.

Participants Dave Key, Matthew Morris, Pam Clover, Susie Kuczera, Graham Mankin, Helen Chave, Charles Carter, Ellis Carter, Jamie Jackson, Richard Harmon, Reuben Tinto, Hannah Smith, Hollie Docherty, Becky Jackson, Billie Brunning, Rebecca Bullock, and Aishlen Taylor took to the streets of the capital last month to run the iconic 26.2-mile route.

They joined thousands of other runners on traversing from Greenwich Park to The Mall, passing London's landmarks such as Tower Bridge, the London Eye, the Cutty Sark, and the Houses of Parliament.

Helena Sinclair, from the Stars Appeal, expressed immense gratitude towards the marathon team, saying: “We are incredibly grateful to our fantastic team of London Marathon runners for raising such an incredible total. Their dedication and determination have been truly inspiring."

She extended her thanks to the generous donors who contributed to the fundraising efforts.

"The money raised will help us continue to enhance care for patients and their families and support the staff who care for them at Salisbury Hospital."

This significant contribution will aid Salisbury Hospital in continuing its efforts to provide exceptional care and support to patients, families, and staff.
