Householder and dog disturb Calne attempted burglary
Police are keen to hear from anyone with information
An attempted burglary in Calne in the early hours of this morning (Friday 14th March) has been disturbed by a householder and his dog.
Two men gained entry to a house in The Green at around 3.30am.
The victim went downstairs as it happened, and challenged the intruders with his dog.
The man was threatened with what's thought to have been a hammer, but they left empty-handed.
There's now an appeal for anyone with information, especially those with home CCTV, doorbell cameras or dash cam footage from the area, to contact Wiltshire Police.
