Drugs worth £20,000 seized in Trowbridge as man charged

Drugs with an estimated street value of £20,000 have been confiscated following simultaneous police warrants executed in Trowbridge.
Class A substances, including heroin, cocaine, and crack cocaine, were seized during operations carried out on Yerbury Street.
Christopher Mounty, a 43-year-old with no fixed address, was arrested and subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
He appeared at Swindon Magistrates' Court, where he was remanded into custody until his plea hearing scheduled for 24th June at Salisbury Crown Court.
Trowbridge Neighbourhood Sergeant Gemma Rutter praised the teamwork between the local policing team and the Crime Task Force, saying: “This was excellent collaborative work between the Trowbridge Neighbourhood Policing Team and the Crime Task Force.
“This kind of activity wouldn’t be possible without intelligence from the community.
“Keep reporting information to us and we will not hesitate to take action.”
