Dorset & Wiltshire Fire Service recognise long service at Annual Awards

Long Service and Good Conduct Medals were awarded

The annual awards ceremony for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service has recognised staff for long service and good conduct.

Taking place at Tidworth Garrison Theatre, the ceremony also featured presentations of the Chief Fire Officers Commendations, which recognise meritorious courage above and beyond the call of duty.

Chief Fire Officer Ben Ansell said:

“The awards ceremony is a wonderful way to bring people together and celebrate the depth and breadth of work being delivered by all parts of our Service.

“This is not just across our prevention, protection, emergency response and corporate functions, but also in all parts of our Service area.”

Among the recipients of a Long Service and Good Conduct Medals/Clasps from South Wiltshire were:

FF Guy Danvers, FF Alan Brown, CM Rich Plaskett, FF Paul Harris, SM Nic Courtice, Rtd FF Simon Davies and Rtd WM Neil McConchie.

The Medals and Clasps were presented to staff by the Lord Lieutenant of Dorset, Angus Campbell, and the Deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Luke March.
