Woman hospitalised after dog bite in Trowbridge

Police are asking for help to identify the owner

Wiltshire Police are appealing for help to identify a dog owner after a woman was bitten in Trowbridge.

The incident took place at around 6:45am on Tuesday, 26th May in Southwick Country Park.

The victim suffered puncture wounds and swelling to her leg from a light-coloured, sandy brown dog, believed to be a collie.

She required hospital treatment for her injuries.

The owner of the dogs, who was also walking a black and white collie, is described as short and stocky, in her 50s, with blonde shoulder-length hair.

Police are seeking any information that could help identify her.
