Dog forced to wear muzzle after incident at John Coles Park

A dog has been forced to wear a muzzle - following an incident at John Coles Park earlier this week.
Police were called to the site in Chippenham after a dog attacked another dog - and members of the public had to get involved.
In a statement, Wiltshire Police said: "We investigated an incident involving two dogs at John Coles Park, Chippenham, on Monday (28/04).
"At approximately 5.20pm, a dog attacked another dog and members of the public intervened.
"The victim dog's owner helped to separate the animals and was bitten to the hand in the process.
"Both dogs had been separated by the time we arrived on the scene and the owner of the suspect dog was dealt with by means of a community resolution order, which was supported by the victim.
"This order requires the dog to wear a lead and muzzle at all times whilst in public spaces, the dog must only be walked by persons over the age of 18 and the dog's owner must attend a Responsible Dog Owners Course."
