A 21-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murder
A 21-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murder following the death of a man in Longhedge on Friday (May 3).
Alfie Miller, of Willow Drive in Durrington, appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court yesterday and has been remanded in custody.
Miller is now due to appear at Winchester Crown Court tomorrow (07/05).
52-year-old Darren Hughes was found deceased inside a property in Davies Road, and Wiltshire Police say his family are being supported by specialist officers.
They add their thoughts remain with them at this difficult time.
People are likely to see an increased police presence in the area for several days.
