The car park at Salisbury's Churchill Gardens has flooded today (Tuesday 28th January), along with the underpass into the park from New Bridge Road.

The City Council have warned us to take care accessing the gardens.

In a social media post, they said: "Please take care today when accessing Churchill Gardens.

"Due to the heavy rainfall, the car park is very flooded, as is the underpass under New Bridge Road."

Meanwhile, we're being warned that the recent flooding may impact household waste and recycling collections in Wiltshire.

The Council is asking us to leave unemptied bins out if it's safe to do so, insisting they'll empty them as soon as possible.

It's hoped collections not completed yesterday will be caught up today (Tuesday 28th January).
