Charge after Chippenham collision
Two people were seen fleeing the scene of the collision on Tuesday evening
A teenager has been charged following a collision in Chippenham.
Wiltshire Police were called to a collision in Park Lane at approximately 7.30pm on Tuesday 16 June. A Citroen Berlingo had crashed into a barrier on the side of the road and two people were seen fleeing the scene.
Searches were carried out and two people matching the description were located in nearby Greenway Lane.
Jake Evans, 18, of High Street, Sutton Benger, has been charged with failing to stop after a road accident, driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, using a vehicle without insurance and failing to provide specimen for analysis.
He has been released on bail and is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court on July 16.
