Car windows smashed in Castle Combe theft

A bag was stolen from a Mercedes parked in The Street

The windows of a car have been smashed in a Wiltshire village, for thieves to steal a bag.

A black Mercedes was targeted in The Street in Castle Combe between 7.30 and 8.30pm last Thursday evening (23rd January).

The stolen bag contained personal documents.

There's now an appeal for witnesses, or anyone who saw suspicious activity, to contact officers.
