A 'large sum' of cash has been stolen from a Pewsey supermarket, during an early morning burglary.

Thieves broke into the Co-Op on the High Street at around 1.45am yesterday (Thursday 13th April).

They'd caused damage to the shutter to get into the store.

Police were called after loud noises were heard coming from the scene.

Three people were seen running away from the scene towards Pewsey Football Club.

Wiltshire Police say their enquiries are ongoing, and are asking anyone who might have dash cam or CCTV footage that could help with investigations, to contact them.
