Bradford-on-Avon man jailed after sexually assaulting and attacking woman
Braham Aissaoui, 52, was sentenced after admitting offences including sexual assault and intentional strangulation
A 52-year-old man from Bradford-on-Avon has been jailed after sexually assaulting and attacking a woman in her home.
Braham Aissaoui, a UK national, was sentenced to three years and nine months in prison at Swindon Crown Court on 3 August after pleading guilty to the offences of intentional strangulation, assault by beating and sexual assault.
The court heard the offences took place between the 26th and 30th March this year.
Aissaoui was initially remanded in prison due to the severity of the offences and the risk he posed to the victim.
At the sentencing the judge also imposed a seven-year restraining order, preventing Aissaoui from contacting his victim.
