There's been disruption to train services in parts of Wiltshire this morning due to a police incident at Trowbridge.

There are reports that ammunition was found on the tracks near to Dursley Road at around 3:30am by a GWR employee.

As a precaution, a bomb disposal team from Tidworth was called to remove the ammunition and make the area safe.

Great Western Railway say all lines have now reopened, but there may be some cancellations to services between Westbury and Chippenham via Melksham.
