Body found in search for missing Bradford on Avon teenager
Wiltshire Police said formal identification has not yet taken place
A body has been found during the search for a missing teenager in Bradford on Avon.
Police said the body was found in the Bradford on Avon area this afternoon (27th October.)
Georgie, had been reported missing after last being seen in the early hours of Saturday 24th October near The Barge Inn, alongside the Kennet and Avon Canal.
Wiltshire Police said formal identification has not yet taken place but Georgie's family have been informed about the development and are being supported by specially trained officers.
The force added that the family have asked for their privacy to be respected and their "thoughts are with Georgie's family and friends."
Enquiries remain ongoing, but police said they do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death at this early stage.
Police said formal identification will take place in due course.
