High-performance car targeted in Trowbridge attempted burglary

An attempted burglary near Trowbridge is believed to have been targeting a high-performance car parked on a driveway.

Would-be thieves went to a property in St Mary's Gardens in Hilperton Marsh at around 12.15am yesterday (Tuesday 4h March).

Police tell us the offenders were disturbed by a dog inside the house, and left the scene empty-handed.

There's an appeal for anyone with information, including home CCTV, doorbell camera or dashcam footage, to pass those details on to officers.
