Two men arrested on suspicion of 'violent disorder' in Salisbury

It follows an incident in Crosier Close, Old Sarum

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in Salisbury.

One of the men, who are both in their 20's, was also arrested for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

It happened in Crosier Close in Old Sarum last Monday and police have now released the details.

A third man, also in his 20's was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

He has been released on bail.

A spokesperson for Salisbury Police said:

"A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and possession with intent to supply class A drugs. We also arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of violent disorder. They are both currently in police custody.

"We also arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of assisting an offender. He has since been released on conditional bail.

"We would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, shortly after 12noon on Monday (13/03) to contact us on 101 quoting log 54230027220."
