Traffic on A303 eastbound near Wiltshire due to crash

Clean-up efforts continue with ongoing traffic delays

The A303 in Wiltshire has reopened eastbound between the B3092 at Zeals and the B3095 at Mere after being closed due to a road traffic collision involving two cars.

Although the road is now open, clean-up operations are continuing, and drivers may still experience traffic delays.

Wiltshire Police and emergency services remain in the area managing the situation.

Continuing Traffic Caution

Drivers are advised to remain cautious and allow extra travel time as clean-up efforts proceed.

Travelers should plan their journeys accordingly, considering possible rerouting or delays.

In a statement, Wiltshire Police said: "We are attending to a road traffic collision that took place at about 6.15am this morning (19/03) on the A303 between Mere and Zeals.

"One driver has been treated for minor injuries.

"The eastbound carriageway is partially blocked and traffic is being diverted onto the B3092.

"Please consider alternative routes and expect delays in the area."
