Witness appeal after cyclist incident in Plymouth

Police are appealing for witnesses, who assisted an injured cyclist in Plymouth, who later died in hospital.
Detectives are investigating a report that a 59 year-old local man was assaulted, while on his bike on George Place, Stonehouse, on Tuesday 26 May, at around 9.20pm.
He sustained serious injuries and subsequently died on Sunday 26 July.
Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding both the incident and his death.
A 34 year-old Plymouth woman has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. She has been released on police bail.
Officers are now appealing for help, to trace members of the public, who assisted the cyclist after the incident and are particularly keen to hear from occupants of a blue Mercedes, which stopped near the scene.
