Stagecoach South West says new technology is being installed on its routes - as it highlights how much services have developed
Stagecoach South West has dug out a former ticket machine which used dials and a handle to crank out paper tickets - to highlight its new 'advanced ticketing technology'.
Founded in 1980, Stagecoach is the UK’s largest bus and coach operator, and is now rolling out its Ticketer TK300 machines. The latest devices feature a built-in microphone and speakers to enable two-way communications between bus drivers and depots, also tracking the bus in real time for passenger use via the app.
