Tamar Crossings temporarily removes ferry toilet facilities

They say it's due to regulatory concerns

Tamar Crossings has temporarily closed the on-board toilet facilities on its ferries after being notified of potential regulatory issues by the Environment Agency.

The organisation is currently investigating the situation to establish the facts and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

As a precautionary measure, Tamar Crossings withdrew the toilet facilities from service starting at 7:00pm on 9th June.

While recognising the inconvenience this may cause to passengers, Tamar Crossings has responded by installing portaloos on both sides of the ferry for public use.

Public toilet facilities are also available in Devonport Park and Torpoint town centre for those affected by the temporary loss of on-board facilities.

The investigations are ongoing, and Tamar Crossings promises to update customers once more information is available.

For any immediate questions regarding ferry or bridge services, Tamar Crossings recommends contacting their customer services team or visiting their website.
